In diesem Jahr ist der Klimawandel auch in meinen Reich angekommen. Zwei Quellen auf meinem Land sind versiegt. Das heißt, mein Entwässerungsgraben trocknete zum erstenmal aus (seit ich mich selbst zum Kanzler vor 40 Jahren ernannte), und meine Geldquelle schrumpte um über 50%.
Das einzige was in meinem Reich hemungslos wuchs waren Unkräuter...
Und meine Verschwörungstheoretiker...
Diese glauben heute immer noch, dass das Gras auf der anderen Seite des Zauns besser schmeckt...
Selbst der Einsatz meiner Überwachungsdrohnen...
...konnte diese Frevler nicht davor abhalten ihre von mir gesteckten Grenzen einzuhalten.
Aber, der Tag der Abrechnung rückt immer näher. Dann treibe ich meine Steuern ein.
Dies ist auch unbedingt notwendig, denn meine Kartoffel ernte war ein absolutes Desaster...
Ohne den wertvollsten Rohstoff Wasser sind die Kartoffeln mickrig geblieben. Die größte hatte gerademal 30g erreicht.
Als kleine Entschädigung gab es wenigsten ein paar Tomaten...
Aber was tun wenn die Wirtschaft schwächelt und die Steuereinnahmen nicht mehr Sprudeln?
Ein guter Politiker kurbelt diese mit gigantischen Bauprojekten an um sein Land für neue Steuerzahler interessant zu machen. Dadurch, dass meine Wasserquelle ausgetrocknet ist, ist es Zeit ein Rückhaltebecken zu bauen.
Mit Muskelkraft und Hitech, einem Fiskas Spaten gings ans Werk...
Das alte Betonrohr habe ich ausgegraben...
...und durch ein Hitech KG Rohr ersetzt...
Wir es auf dem Bau so üblich ist werden Bauschutt und Problemstoffe grundsätzlich in Neubauten wieder verwertet.
Praktisch, aus den Augen aus dem Sinn.
Um dem ganzen einen neuen Anstrich zu verpassen benötigte ich neue Baustoffe...
Das Rohr habe ich mit Granitsteine ummauert...
Die anderen Steine habe ich zur Hangbefestigung schräg hoch gemauert...
Damit das Wasser nicht versickern kann habe ich die Fugen mit Wasserdichten Mörtel verfugt...
Ein Prestigeobjekt!
Eines jedem großen Kanzlers würdig...
In diesem Ententeich müssen sich im kommenden Jahr nur noch die Enten meine zukünftigen Steuerzahler Wohl fühlen.
Um so fetter die Steuerzahler um so glücklicher der Steuereintreiber 😈
Wahrscheinlich bin ich nun der einzige mit einem Granit Ententeich im Garten... 😇

With muscle power and Hitech, a Fiskas spade, we went to work...
I dug up the old concrete pipe...
...and replaced by a Hitech KG pipe...
As is customary in construction, building rubble and problematic materials are always recycled in new buildings.
Convenient, out of sight, out of mind.
To give the whole thing a new coat of paint I needed new building materials...
I walled the pipe with granite stones...
I built the other stones diagonally high to secure the slope...
So that the water cannot seep away, I filled the joints with waterproof mortar...
A prestige object!
Worthy of every great chancellor...
In this duck pond only the ducks my future taxpayers have to feel comfortable in the coming year.

Where we are also experiencing problems regarding irrigation that is damaged and has not been repaired yet, our community is still having trouble not being able to plow their fields because there is no water. I don't know how long we have to wait...

Die Kartoffelausbeute sieht doch gar nicht so schlecht. Ich werde meinen Kartoffelturm in den nächsten Tagen auch einmal umschubsen und gucken was er so bietet. Aber ich denke auch, das ein bisschen Regen gefehlt hat.
Ja es sind viele Kartoffeln gewesen aber diese sind sehr mickrig.
Bin auf deinen Kartoffelturm gespannt. Wenn du überzeugt bist ,baue ich nächstes Jahr Auch einen.
Hoffentlich verpasse ich es nicht.
