Hi everyone!!!
As a pastime these days I'm trying out different techniques in cutting different types of wood joinery. I'm no expert, as you can see from the pictures, but it's a real challenge to try and get those joints perfectly fitting, with no spaces nor tear-outs.
I use both hand tools and simple DIY machinery, like a hand router or a band saw.
For the dovetails I use japanese saws that are very precise.
It's very interesting how a simple box of wood can be so complicated!!!

In questi giorni, come passatempo, mi sto dedicando alla realizzazione di vari tipi di incastri nel legno.
Come vedete dalle foto non sono certo un esperto, ma è una vera sfida cercare di realizzarli in modo che combacino perfettmente, senza spazi o scheggiature.
Uso sia utensili a mano, che semplici macchine da Fai da Te, come la fresatrice a mano o la sega a nastro.
Per le code di rondine uso le seghe a mano giapponese, che sono molto precise.
È interessante come una scatola di legno possa essere così complessa!!!

In effetti la coda di rondine deve essere molto più difficile da realizzare, il bricolage è un'attività molto bella perchè creativa, peccato che ho sempre poco tempo ultimamente...Bravo comunque
