We worked on a Pine log that found a while ago.
We have been having problems with the Pine as it is tending to crack.
The good thing that it is easy to turn and thus it is great for us to practice on.
Our small lathe has a hard time with a blank as big as what we have on it in the picture. It really starts to wobble even though it is balanced.
We can't wait until we get out new lathe.
