I spent the morning weeding this area that was covered by this ground cover which I had no idea what it was.
The weeds weren't the hard work but it was all the rocks that came up when I pulled the weeds.
This area is filled with lava rocks of all sides.
I used the rake to get the rocks into a pile and used a shovel and my hands to load wheelbarrow after wheelbarrow of the rocks.
Once I got the bulk of the rocks out I sowed grass seeds and mixed them into the dirt.
