Amol Muzumdar, the former Mumbai batsman, was appointed South Africa's provisional batting coach for the three-match Test series versus India, confirmed on Monday (September 9) by Cricket South Africa. Muzumdar, who made his first-class debut for Mumbai (Bombay) back in 1994 versus Haryana, was a continuous national player, accumulating 11167 first-class cricket matches.
