The term Data Scientist is a nebulous construct that is probably still evolving.
The term full stack developer in its initial stages of use had similar issues of construction. There is no homogeneity in the job skills of one full stack developer and another, even now, but we know that he/she is sort of a jack of all trades but master of none. Probably the same is true of Data Scientists.
