Pay what you want for awesome comics and support charity! ... That's the basic tagline on every comics bundle put together by Humble Bundle... and boy they aren't kidding around!

I believe this is the fourth time I've purchased a bundle of comics through Humble Bundle... and almost single handedly they've launched my digital comics collection to a respectable 30 gigabytes worth... (much still waiting to be read!) Many of the comics can be downloaded in multiple formats, such as pdf, cbz, or epub... and they're all DRM free!

This grouping from publisher Dynamite Entertainment features almost 10,000 pages of reading at a savings of 98%!

Many titles are tie ins to popular media of today, featuring properties like Game of Thrones, Battlestar Galactica, Army of Darkness, John Wick, and even Bob's Burgers! (I'm actually excited to check those out... I do love the show.)

Mixed in are also some incredible classics of comics for the long time readers. Great collections like American Flagg by Howard Chaykin, Dreadstar by Jim Starlin, and 8 whole volumes of the Vampirella Master Series.

Dynamite has also snuck in a couple nice art books focused around Street Fighter and Atari to round out the deal.

I did pay the bare minimum to acquire everything, which was an incredibly cheap $18. It's a pay what you want system so you're free to pony up some more cash if you like... and it certainly wouldn't go to waste. If you're not familiar with Humble Bundle, you also get to direct where the funds from your purchase go, designating certain percentages to either the Humble Bundle organization, the content publisher, and a charity either of your choice, or the suggested charity for the bundle. In this case that charity was the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund which I'm a big fan of and have donated to in the past. I was happy to ensure a decent cut when their way, while also leaving enough incentive for the publisher to hopefully want to participate with more Humble Bundles in the future, and a bit for the organization itself to keep things running smoothly!

If you've been looking to broaden your comics exploration... you can almost never go wrong with a Humble Bundle. Be sure to jump on this in the limited time left and keep your eye out for future offerings as well!
