We are only registered as a non-profit in two countries and therefore are not legally entitled to solicit donations from anywhere other than the U.K. and Thailand. It is a tricky business and of course online donations are excluded from this. Every now and then someone goes out of their way to help us in a massive way and as far as All Pawz Dog Grooming is concerned.
By their own choice they held a raffle drawing in their local community and managed to raise nearly $200 for our cause and since we are all trapped here we literally had nothing to do with it other than to have smiles on our faces when we heard the results.
There were 3 winners of the raffle that receive a free full grooming session as well as bath goodies for their fluffy dog pals. They also got some wine and well, most people appreciate that, right?
During these trying times of near complete lockdown of Thailand our "bread and butter" as far as donations are concerned have almost completely been cut off because there is a trend in tourism (thankfully) to donate time and money to local animal shelters and charities such as ours. With no tourism allowed, we have seen a 90% drop in help in the past 7 months.
Thanks to amazing people like Brenda (pictured above) we are able to fill the hungry bellies of many stray dogs and cats as well as provide much needed medical services and rescues.
It is moments like these that we are just so pleased to have the support of the international community in our efforts and we applaud your generosity and commitment to helping the less fortunate fur babies of the world. Thanks so much!
