Double Eagle had another recording session this past weekend (plus a few days on either end). We got a lot done and have a lot of stuff coming out. Other than a few new PSAs, which of course are extremely important which you need to listen to immediately, we also released a free Christmas single on Bandcamp, including our original Christmas tune ROBOCLAUS. The first thing we recorded during the session is an extended instrumental version of a single that will be released in the future called We Spinnin. Check out the instro:

But, the most exciting part is that we are going to release a mini-album called COVID 20/20 on 1/1/21. This is an epic 20:20 length track in 5 movements, in which we process the year's events related to COVID. We have released the first movement (which is also currently on rotation at Atom Collector Records):

The full version will be available for $1 on Bandcamp on New Year's Day, and builds towards the final movement in which we reveal the solution to which Double Eagle inevitably arrived. Stay tuned!
WOW, within a single post you pumping out quite a few tunes! I can imagine you are exited about the mini album coming up! Being a big fan of the electronic genre, the 'we spinnin instrumental' is the one I'm listening while writing this comment. I suppose you use some acoustic/analogue instrument added with some electronic elements to create this one? Or was it all electronically created?
BTW, you seem to live in a great place.... See lots of trees through the window! WOW!
For We Spinnin we had one layer of a hand shaker and vocals on a mic, and the rest is about 4 synthesizers (I was playing two, and I'm never quite sure how many JoeJoe, my DE partner, is playing). We do like to do the analogue + electronic mix. We have a slow drippy one called Channel 857 on our SoundCloud page you might like.
I wish this house was mine! Me and JoeJoe live about a 6 hour drive apart so when we record we rent a house, preferably in the woods, about halfway between us.

I kinda had this thought already, since I know people personally doing this. Not just when partners in crime are living far apart, but to be away from home, away from all the distractions. Woods seems to be the preferred choice when seeking the location for creating music. But I thought: I should not drive my comment like this 😉
Thats super cool! A few of my producer friends use hardware and synths still, they may use laptop and software, but prefer the good old way to make their music.
