I don't think I have. Sometimes you see "shooting stars" which are actually not stars they are usually satellites orbiting the Earth.

I can remember I have seen a comet on probably on 1996 or 1997. All the newspaper were very excited about it and we went to a watch tower type of place to observe it. I was like 6 or 7 years then.
I only can remember everyone was exited and it was like a festival. Most probably the name of the comet was Hale-Boop or something like this. 😀
