Morning Monday!

Good morning everyone. Did you all have a good weekend? I sure did. I saw some friends Saturday which I haven’t seen since last year and yesterday I went for a walk in the Sunday sun. It was very pleasant getting out and about. The rest air is certainly good for you. It might explain these dreams from last night. There were lots of them.

Sunday 20th September 2020 (Part 1)

Again, I dreamed about another colleague I used to work with. This time I was in a big back garden which felt like more of an allotment. It was starting to get dark and I saw this ex colleague running. I hid behind some greenery as I didn’t want him to see me… and no I wasn’t perving on him either!

Then I saw a female runner and I was standing next to her. She was wearing a neon green Nike sports bra and black shorts. The top she was wearing was very similar to mine. Same colour and shape but mine had a bog black tick across it, whereas her top just said ’Nike’ in small black letters. I was sizing her up. I don’t know why. Maybe I was comparing my body shape to hers, but still. She was here and I wanted to be alone.

My dream changed and I dreamt about my old flat. The people had just moved in to the flat next-door. It was Ando and Hiro from Heroes! They were very chatty and then I dreamed I was in my flat. 'But it wasn’t my flat’. My flat was on the ground floor. The one in my dream was on the top floor. The stairs going up to the flat was in the middle of the building too whereas in real life, the stairs were at the side. I just remember the lights being on.

Why do I keep dreaming about old colleagues? And why are they the ones that I didn’t get on with? I haven’t seen this colleague for about 10 years. He did used to run though. He used to go running on his day off, yet would come into the office stinking of sweat! Yuk! I still don’t get why the woman was there and why she was wearing practically the same outfit as me. I do work out, but I don’t run. I hate cardio! The dream about my old flat is a recurring dream. I’m forever dreaming about it. I haven’t lived in it for 14 years. Why do I still dream about it? I know I used to hate the neighbours on the top floor. They were always noisy and woke me up at 6am in the morning with kids or keeping me awake at night with the washing machine going at 11pm! Is this why I dreamed about the top flat and not my bottom one. I would have loved it though if Hiro and Ando were really my neighbours. Imagine all the mischief we could get up to. Better still… Saving the world!!
