Sooooftly... as in a morning suuunrise...
Made this beat out of some chopped up Dorothy Ashby samples. I left a little bit of the source material in the intro, to give a feel for how it gets chopped in the beat. Went with sort of a trap vibe on this one-- some heavy stoccato high hats in there. Kinda lit though, right? It' s a new style for me, but I think it turned out fairly well. Now I just need to go back and work on the transition, spice up the kicks a little bit, and this one could be a certified banger someday. Check it out!
