After waiting for some time the eSteem users finally knew the rebranding had been done. From post of @estemapp we know the new name used to replace eSteem. You can check this post.
From Esteem to Ecency
One step to make it right is to make a breakthrough with a new brand on the platform that we are proud of.
The plan for this ecency name will be launched on July 22, 2020. The selection of this date is also interesting because 22 divided by 7 is the value of Pi in mathematics.
As we can see the ecency symbol above is in a circle. A selection of moments that all match.
The meaning of ecency in my opinion
For me, seeing the ecency logo can be interpreted in several forms.
1. As a heart,
if we pay attention to the letter e and or can be seen as a heart shape. I hope ecency will really enter our hearts so that this love for dapp can give something to our hearts. Peace, calm and of course there is economic value that we get.
2.As a form of swan,
Geese are versatile animals. he can swim, walk and fly. we hope that with ecency we can develop in a variety of circumstances. When on land, sea and air we can immediately adjust. With Ecency we can pick up a bright future regardless of the circumstances.
3. As a hat
Hats are a part of protection from hostile weather. We hope that by using ecency as a reliable dapp we will be protected from bad actions. We hope to feel safe. Being in ecency becomes a symbol and our reality is protected.
4. As clouds and waves
As a wave and cloud, I interpret ecency as being able to bring users in any conditions and weather. When the sun blows, there are clouds that shade. When there are big or small waves all users will feel comfortable.
So that we can encapsulate the birth of ecency will take us through clouds and waves like a swan who can always adapt both on land sea and air using a hat so that our hearts feel calm and happy.
