They have a lot of wellness and body care products. If you like to take care of yourself, the Kneipp products are unquestionably something for you. A few days ago they sent me a box to pamper myself. 😊
Cool, right? Who doesn’t like to take care of themself? I bet you are as curious as me to find out what was inside this goodies box. To my surprise, there weren’t only body care products, they also added grow confetti (some kind of discs that you have to bury in soil and a plant will grow out of it) and fragrance sticks. 😮
Those fragrance sticks bring back fond memories of childhood holidays with our aunt, uncle, and niece. My dad and his youngest sister were pretty close, and our trips to Wales together were always a lot of fun. The holiday I am talking about was to the Woodhouse Grange when I was about the age of 12 or 13. I Could have been younger or older, what's in a number. 😜
Our niece had brought some Patchouli fragrance sticks with her. I didn’t love the scent. My niece thought they were so cool and they were quite popular among youngsters, so I did not tell her it was unpleasant to me. 😬
Sadly, she passed away at 51 because of cancer. Way too young. That’s why the scent of Patchouli now has an emotional connection to me. It brings back sweet memories of a past long gone. Ah, I am talking of times when a lot of of you weren’t even born. Surely you must have noticed my best friends, age wrinkles. 😁
Ok, time to tell you some more about Kneipp® and the box I received from them. 😍
A brief history on Kneipp®
It's Kneipp®'s birthday. This year the natural pampering and feel-good brand exist for 130 years. In 1891, the man who started it all, Sebastian Kneipp, founded the brand himself. On the 17th of May, it was also exactly 200 years ago this German pastor, benefactor, and health pioneer was born. So it's a double anniversary.
Sebastian Kneipp is well known in Germany for his effective water cures that are still used in many spas. He has selflessly helped hundreds of people to solve their health problems. He has also written various books such as 'Meine Wasserkur' (my water cure) with tips that are still current and effective (e.g. the cold showers). 2021 is a great year to celebrate his achievements and the fact that we can still enjoy his products.
Kneipp® worldwide
Today, Kneipp sells products in 18 countries worldwide. Also in Japan and America. What started 130 years ago in a pharmacy in Würzburg has grown into a global brand with around 650 employees. 450 of these work in Germany where the products are developed and manufactured with great care for skin compatibility, quality, and durability. The mission of all Kneipp® employees is to offer everyone relaxing, pampering moments every day that contribute to a healthy and happy life.
Kneipp® philosophy

How to use them?

My opinion?
It smells very fresh. After applying it, my skin felt completely refreshed, and it felt nice and soft too. I still have to try the Detox Care and the Chill out masks, but am looking forward to it. 😃

These Kneipp® Fragrance Sticks have a modern and minimalist design and use natural materials so that they fit into any interior. A round glass bottle with a purist wooden holder for the sticks. The labels on the glass bottle are easily removable.
How to use them?
It's super easy. You put the number of sticks in the bottle that you like. The bigger the room or the intenser the scent you desire, the more sticks you will need.
My opinion?
I didn't dislike the scent at all and I think it's perfect that you can choose the intensity by putting more or fewer sticks in the bottle. It's a lot safer than the ones we used when I was young because you don't have to put these on fire. Still, beware not to let small children have access to it. 😊

The only thing I can say about it is that the content of the bottle smells nice. We don't have a bathtub, but I am certain my daughter will gladly accept it. 😏

My opinion?
The scent is very nice and not too powerful. My skin feels velvety soft after applying the cream. I love the pump system, which makes it easier to get the right amount of cream. It also spreads easily so that you only need a little. 😎

Wow I have never heard of him and he sounds like a true visionary so thank you for sharing! I only wonder if they test on animals...I would hope not...as so many of the big name cosmetic companies shamefully do still....
