Boston DAO Breakdown
The meetup scheduled todayconvened at the office of 186 Ventures, an investment capital fund supporting the web3 development in the major city of Boston. I'm excited to begin the year and end the month with a decisive moment, the attendance at tonight's event. Much of my success in the vocation of my choosing relies upon on my consistency with these individuals, this network and this particular space, blockchain. Many people have opinions, but few see the vision for establishing a new paradigm. I compete against none but the status quo.
I have one particular aim in mind, which is to communicate my patron plan, or share the details on how readers can support my cause. I have an initiative to maintain funds for the conference where my friend will speak in New York. I also aim to staple my slot as a speaker at the conference relative to Boston. I hope to enlighten on the opportunity for creators to support themselves, free of exploitation from today's platforms and avenues. Simply put, an Uber driver doesn't earn every dollar from the charged fare nor does a Twitch streamer earn every penny from the subscription of a viewer. This proves to be the norm, yet it no longer must. With the democratization of value, with this technology, users can contribute monetarily without intermediaries peeling a cut.
The plan includes these four aspects:
- reading
- staking
- learning
- earning
In short, I delve into the opportunity available on this protocol, HIVE. I understand many might listen, yet few will participate. Yet the opportunity to share on the gravity of this technology fuels me. The information around these opportunities compels me. The way the tides reach for the moon at night, I feel a pull to share my story and photography with this medium.
One day, perhaps my work might reach a distant star a way's off. Even so, the Way of the photographer creates images I am happy to see more than the destination.
