5 tips to help build a good post

in #ecency3 years ago

Some tips are never too much, even because social networks like the ones we are using have a large influx of new users, who are often confused in so many news. I even find myself in that category. I have been here for a short time, but I had enough training time at Steemit to adapt with the content creation system, not only in terms of formatting, but also in terms of knowing what to write.

Sometimes even though we have good ideas in our mind and the desire to turn it into words around here, we lack something, be it skill or even some tool to facilitate this content development. Thinking about it, at least to facilitate this immersion of those who are still starting to build their post pattern, I decided to bring some tips that help me a lot in this work:

1 - Work with topics that you understand:

We all have subjects that hold us more, that we are fissured, that we love or even subjects that are difficult to express, but that if expressed to others can not only give you good posts, but also help those in need. It doesn't matter what it is. Maybe you know a lot about science, maybe you like fishing and you know lagoons and rivers that are so beautiful that they deserve a post just for them, maybe you have had difficult experiences, but that made you grow. Maybe you can talk about dogs, cats, horses, old movies, sex, crimes, drugs, health, brain, maybe you just like talking about dolphins. Okay, if you know how to captivate the reader, any topic will be perfect.

2 - Have tools at hand:

Having decided on your topic, it is time to gather the necessary information. Who knows, maybe you're one of those fanatics about World War II, I don't know, but is the information in your mind accurate enough? It costs nothing to check the quality of your memory. There are countless ways to do this, but the most practical for this situation is to open a google search and write precisely the topic you are trying to write. Remembering, of course, that Hive will not be your friend if you copy and paste articles from other sites. The idea here is to feed "Proof of Brain. Pages like Wikipedia are great tools for your quick search, but still, depending on the topic, it is often important to go deeper, sometimes even researching a scientific article, if your post has a bias like this.

3 - The secret is to have a vast vocabulary:

There are countless ways of saying the same word, everything depends on your wit in the construction of the sentence and in the search for the perfect synonym. For this, a very useful tool is the Dictionary of Synonyms. So you can say the same thing in ten different ways and still look very smart LOL. We still have the "antonyms", and the dictionary itself, which can help increase your linguistic background. Have you ever taken a dictionary to read it, as a hobby?

4 - Don't overdo it and don't save:

There is a perfect number of paragraphs to use in Hive and its tribes, and that number is: I don't know! LoL. It is something I like to challenge, because I often need to use enough words to say everything I want. But it is important to have a good sense, not to exaggerate, because few people have the patience to read great texts in our era of technological speed watered by attention deficit and hyperactivity. The ideal is to follow the logic of a good article: Introduction, beginning, middle and end.

5 - The eyes need good bait:

Who will open a text without an image? Few, if any, people. Who is going to open a text with an image that has been widely copied and already worn out? Few people. And who is going to open a text that, even if it is new content, always, always uses the same photo or art, to try to standardize the posts? I don't know, some? I am particularly attracted to the good images, it says a lot about the quality of the post. Knowing how to choose the images of your text makes all the difference.
And that is not just looking for good images in databases, knowing how to paste them and centralize them. Rather, knowing how to use some tools to enhance your chances of voting. This goes from using photos of yourself, well taken, with some objective sense, of course, even using virtual tools that can help a lot in the process of creating "almost" private arts. And here's a secret: Deep Dream Generetor, an incredible image transformation tool through the use of artificial intelligence, which can give you countless variations on the original photo.

I hope that these tips have been useful in some way, following these steps I guarantee that it is possible to generate pleasant and very solid content, which little by little will help to form an audience for your blog. Thank you for your attention if you read this far, and thanks for voting!

Hive Power Up Day - April 1st 2021 - Hive Power Delegation

Thanks for the great tips and ideas brother. It is sometimes a challenge when writing on hive everyday.

Everyone on here has had one or two issues at the start of their blogging career. I think consistency is key to being better with writing.

Thanks. Have a good day ahead

For sure man! every new article, we going be more strong and prepared to write more and more! :)

Yes you are correct. From one post to another

Tentando fazer tudo!

Thank you for the enjoyable read. I am a newbie and am still trying to find my way around Leo. I'd sure appreciate it if you would check out my blog. I sincerely appreciate any and all feedback on my articles. Thanks.

Good tips, especially for beginners! I really like the order that you used, with topic first and photo last, it seems like a well thought out heirarchy. Did you give a lot of thought to the sequence, or was that just a happy accident?

This is what I was needing to know I feel. I'm going to give this blogging thing a spin and see if anything comes of it.
