As Steem is still very small and there are very active users, it is essential to promote content off the platform. I use Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Linkedin, and sometimes Minds.
Steem also needs much better promotion features. The current 'Promotion' Tag does not attract an audience. Other platforms promote through user feeds. Surely an algorithm can be created that could get promoted content on relevant feeds.
I also hope the view counter will be returned soon. It is very important to know the number of people that view a post.
