This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.

I've used some metrics relating to:

- Comments - number of (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R)
- Comments - length in characters (C L)
- Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (U V)
- Self-votes - a small minus score for this one, sorry! (S V)

Hi Asher, thanks again for doing this. Can't believe it as I land on lucky number 17 and it belongs to @meesterboom lol. We don't aim for certain numbers ,but I did have a laugh when I saw it . Well done to everyone for having another good week.

No out of date lagers as he would have flattened them last night. He was really excited about those ones and being a Scotsmen getting them at a bargain it made him doubly happy.

Bit of an "off" week here due (mostly) to this being "tax season" here in the US of A... our income tax filings are due tomorrow, and it's stunning how much bookkeeping is involved in tracking some crypto transactions here and there. I sincerely hope Coinbase or someone else soon gives Steem its own fiat gateway so we can get rid of having to track the whole multiple currencies from point A to point B thing.

Thank you for your effort to prepare the weekly CEL report @abh12345. I always enjoy reading through the results to get a quantitative view of how everyone is doing in their activity levels on the Steem blockchain.
Have you ever considered an "all-time" post of some sort? Where you compared the "all-time" highest achievements in whatever way you choose to display it? For example, you could just leave what is shown as exactly the same. Except add the week to the left (or right). So ... We would see the "all time" highest ever weekly score for #1, #2, etc. You would have to decide what time range "all-time" would cover ...

I try to add value wherever I go, so if that's equating to long thoughtful comments, cool. Otherwise, it's mostly finding something to say that hopefully adds to the conversation.

I think there's no magic formula to be at the top of engagement league but engage the way we do now @glenalbrethsen π your ability to speak out your mind on any posts is amazing.. I can't do that except in my native tongue π I'm happy to be any where on the chart as long as I could find my name π but.. the more you post, the bigger possibility to reach the top 20π

There are plenty of posts on a weekly basis that I don't end up commenting on because I've got nothing to say. It happens to all of us. I understand about the native tongue, though. I speak Spanish, too, but there's no way I'm going to express myself the same way.
It is nice to hit somewhere in the Top 100, that's for sure.

A week of numbers for me, thank you @bengy, for bringing us the number 33. I see the weeklies were a little week, and this no doubt was part of the reason I made it to 33, because other than talking to few more different people, my numbers were pretty much same as last week.
The week of numbers continued into the other league as well for me, I made the list, number 86. the cool number though was 0.010101 for SP earned per vote. You might say number 33 got 86'ed fro byte-ing off more than he could chew. LoL.
Nice to see everyone still out and about commenting, it may have been a bit slow, but still fun. We will all have to see if we can get the weeklies back on a northward trend, but I understand it is spring for most place north of the equator.

It was an interesting week for me as things are finally settling down at the office and I am getting more time to engage. As a few members have mentioned avoiding self-votes by voting on an alt account, I am wondering if I should stop the self-vote prizes and issue more awards to the top 10/15 places based on position. Thoughts?
I support this, I believe it's a good idea but I guess the "no self upvote" should be a criteria. We have to learn to live without upvoting ourselves. Unfortunately there are users with self upvote among the first ten each week. No offense.

As long as the alt accounts not part of this league, so there's no need to remove the self-vote prizes. It is not easy to reach the top 20 of hundreds of participants and I think you can reduce the prize of 13-20 to half of it and add it to the top 12π.. that's my thought.

Yes, I think you should remove the self vote prize. Besides, according to the ethics here, self vote is not an offense. I think you should only stop the prize but remove the column entirely.

I see I need to make my comments longer but happy to see I had no mysterious SP ( self votes) after taking your advice last time. By going into steemauto I was able to see the trails I was following and get them straightened out.
I was following 3 trails and also upvoting on a regular basics. I deleted two of the trails ( one had 225 people on it) and my VP is finally going above 44 % and on itβs way to 100. π
So glad you got those trails figured out! Nice numbers this week!
