[Space Sweepers]
Netflix bought another movie - this time sci-fi from Koreans. The trailer looks fine, but obviously there's no driveway to Hollywood blockbusters. The plot seems interesting, the spaceship crew responsible for collecting space debris. I don't expect a decent screening, but I hope we'll get at least a decent movie to watch Friday or Saturday with dinner.

[Earwig and the Witch]
Some time ago I was wondering where we will see the newest movie called "Japanese Disney". I was betting on Netflix because of their love of anime and their collaboration with Ghibli studio, and here please - we'll see "Earwig and the Witch" on HBOMax in a month's time. CGI looks noticeably weaker than in some anime movies and Disney productions, but Ghibli animations never go below a certain level, so I count on a touching and atmospheric screening.

[Doom Patrol]
Work on the set for the third season of the series has begun. It will debut this year, but it has not been said when exactly. I haven't seen it and I'm not going to, but since DC canceled most of its series productions (it's not a separate universe from CW TV) and left DP, it must be well assessed and watched by many viewers. And I read quite positive opinions about it.

[Justice League: SnyderCut]
We got two new photos from the Zack Snyder series. They show Darkseid surrounded by his cultists on the planet Uxas and his general, Steppenwolf. Darkseid's appearance is a bit different from what we've seen in DC animations, but it looks pretty good. At least as far as I am concerned, I see no reason to complain. It was different for his subordinate, who looks like the poop that Transformer released after eating several huge containers filled with metal chips. Well, we'll see, maybe it results from the insufficiently good quality of the photo and it will present itself somehow in its final form.

[Army of the Dead]
I'm changing the subject, but we're still sticking with Zack Snyder. We got two pictures from his new zombie movie he is making for Netflix - Army of the Dead. There's nothing interesting in these photos, but it's good to finally see Zack talking about something other than Snyder's Cut. Dave Bautista praises the script very much, reportedly he gave up his role in "The Suicide Squad" with his buddy James Gunn in order to devote himself fully to the role. Well, the movie has a fairly high budget (said to be $ 70-90 million) so it will probably be something to watch.

[Dexter]
I have good news for fans of this series - Clancy Brown will play the role of the main opponent. The new "Dexter" is set to have 10 episodes and is set 10 years after the events of last season.

[WandaVision]
No surprise, the Marvel series got the PG-13 age rating. The premiere is on Friday, January 15th. As with "The Mandalorian", I plan to do a weekly coverage for an episode as long as there is something to talk about and you want to read.

[StarWars]
We already know who will write the script for the SW universe for Kevin Feige. As Deadline reports, Michael Waldron, writer of several episodes of "Rick and Morty", the series "Loki" and "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" will do it.

[Babylon]
The new film by Damien Chazelle ("La La Land", "Whiplash", "First Man") will hit theaters in 2022.

[James Wan's new horror]
The latest horror film directed by James Wan, received the R age category. It is said to be very brutal, with many disgusting scenes and vulgar language.

[Prodigal Son]
Catherine Zeta-Jones will star in a major role in Fox's blockbuster "Prodigal Son" Season 2.
