Green greetings,

I am Ngalim Franklin Njaiwo (Mr. Green), a grassroots Environmental Educator with 13 years of experience serving as Founder/Executive Director of The Greens and a Geology Teacher with 13 years of experience working in Government High School Kedjom-Keku. I am the FAO Forest Educator of the year 2019, an African ChangeMakers Fellow, Innovator, and a Creative Leader/Facilitator with groundbreaking records in Biodiversity Conservation, Environmental Education, and Waste Management.

After very deep reflections, I’ve decided to reactivate all my social networking accounts and focus on Environmental Education with the hope of becoming the greatest Environmental Educator of all time.
I’ll be focusing more on environmental education for children and youths because they are the future and we owe them a thriving, just, and sustainable planet.
If education is the foundation of every successful society and the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world, then environmental education is the foundation of environmental sustainability and the most powerful weapon we can use to effect the environmental change we seek.
The absence of environmental education curriculum, vibrant environmental clubs, and outdoor environmental programs for children and youths further inspires me to follow this new path.
By becoming a grassroots Environmental Educator, I look forward to;

  1. Developing environmental education curriculum for kindergarten, primary and secondary schools as well as organizing capacity-building workshops and seminars.
  2. Organizing regional and national environmental contests
  3. Organizing outdoor environmental activities for children and youths such as hikes, forests tours, etc
  4. Creating vibrant environmental clubs in the nursery, primary and secondary schools
  5. Use art, technology, sports, and media to promote environmental education

I believe if children and youths are effectively educated and given the necessary opportunities to manifest their knowledge and skills, we will be able to avert some of the most pressing environmental challenges in communities and the world.

This is the new me and on 01st September 2022, I’ll be reactivating my Hive, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and all my social networking channels.
