As light as the lightest feather.
As she plodded along in her gumboots:
Through the mud and sloshy mires of the bush track.
She wanted to be there: Receive the beauty. And as she felt:
A drop of rain on the tip of her nose:
She could simply be:
There.

The Arrangement:
This was a very simple ephemeral arrangement with a few variations.
I wanted something very tiny in the centre that would complement the white feathers, spiral shells and the bougainvillea flowers: The miniature deep purple and pale lemon pansies that were in my front garden were perfect.
The spiral shells emphasized the six 'directions' of the Seed of Life.
The duck feathers were added as a soft contrast to the shells and formed an outer circle, turning in a clockwise direction.
Angels speak to those
Who silence their minds long enough to hear.
~Unknown.
Sometimes angels sing to you in the wind.
All you have to do is listen.
~Unknown.
May you travel through life:
On the wings of angels.
~Unknown.
Angels understand our prayers:
Even when we can't find the words to say them.
~Unknown.
A creative who is learning to trust the mystery of what will be.
A spirit that is willing to fly into new creative realms and share the journey. ~Ally.

Breathtaking photos that embodies those words. I really love the attention to detail in creating symmetry as you layered it.
I especially love how the feathers wrap around the seeds like the angels that protect and guard over us all.

At first I was drawn in to the beautiful spiral of all of the pieces and those lovely pansies in the middle, but then when I looked again I realized how much I love the lighting and shadows. The way the feathers look with the angle of the light coming in is just stunning! A breath of fresh air to stop by as always!
I enjoyed reading your poem and the quotes, as well as looking at your arrangement. Very peaceful to the eyes and mind. Kind of like when the wind dies down and everything settles in its place.

Beautiful poen and i love the setup, speically those white flowers between the sea stones. Angels do listen to our messages even when we cant speak them out well, rightly said.
What a lovely arrangement and beautiful sets of photos, Ally :) I really love how you grasp colour balance in your works... The tiny dark purple flowers being set in the middle of the arrangement really create focus and brings a lot of center into the heart of the piece <3 The very pale green and subtle hints of yellows off the leaves and spiral shells diffuse the tension of the middle and transfer our eyes' attention comfortably towards the other circle, which is complemented super nicely by the feather's grey tones * ___ *
