There was a time when children were proud of their parents. You would hear, almost with an air of cockiness, that my daddy is a farmer, or a salesman. Perhaps he was a teacher or government employee. The same was true of the mother as a nurse, piano teacher or scout den leader. In fact families had generations of family in the same career, It may have been a century old farm or a family of military.

Children would want to be a police officer just like dad or grandpa. You can still see this played out in the television series, "The Blue Bloods' with the Reagan family.

Family pride is healthy and has existed for centuries. There was a time, families proudly displaced their coat of arms with the heritage of their surname, referencing what region and family line they came from. This was common with European cultures like the English, German and Scotch.

Today, many children do not know the proud heritage they came from, much less a coat of arms. I was one of those kids. Growing up in the 1970's in a single parent home, I was only aware of my mother's mothers family. That would be only 25% of what was my true family.

This was before the day of the CPS, yet back then much was withheld from children from divorced families. For example, I did not know I had the right to know my father or his family. And my mother went through the same withholding of information from her father's side. How interesting that history repeats itself without learning, but I digress.

My dad did try looking me up when I was in seventh grade. Yeah, I was warned. Of course that stirred my curiosity. That along with a school project of tracing your family roots and Harry Chapin's, "Cat's In The Cradle,' caused me to to do some quiet research.

I did meet my dad and his family on independence day (how ironic) in 1980, and for the next 30 years, devoted countless hours to tracing my family heritage. I learned that I had a proud heritage of self-made, industrious people, including military, farmers, merchants, artists, photographers and musicians.

Most children won't spend thirty years of genealogy to find family pride. Each of us has a different path to travel.

Yet, family pride has gone by the wayside in the past decades. I am reminded of Peter Griffin on Family Guy and how degraded the male figures are shown to be. Even with McFly in the movie, Back to the Future, we see this demoralizing behavior from the bully, Biff.

And yet, Biff is more alive today than ever before. Children are too often told how their old man is a dead beat dad or how you will never amount to anything. Daddy welfare government has stepped in to the custodial role, creating a dependence on the socialistic help and forming a generational addiction. He even helps to finance you killing your own children though abortion.

But Biff, the family demoralizing governmental daddy monster does not stop there. His greed and hunger for corruptions and power continues to be fed like a cancer. Today we have center stage, a new bully, the CPS.

The monster has evolved from demeaning the family, to creating a global climate of broken homes, child theft and trafficking. Today, Child Protective Services are incentivized with bonuses and money to stalk, steal and sell children into a money hungry foster care industry. I call it a baby farm, where innocence and lives are slaughtered, conveyor belt style.

These little ones are shuffled from home to home, in fear of violent hands and angry voices. Some end out on the streets, trafficked for sex, in prisons, or even dead. So many fall through the cracks of the system, that values profit over the welfare of people. And the judicial arm is corrupt with compromised judges and lawyers. Good family savings are spent without any justice coming to pass.

Still the fat cats lawyers and caseworkers clean up a tidy sum per head of child. Child slavery is alive and well, while little boys and girls die voicelessly alone.

A lifetime of psychological baggage litters the lives of the innocent. Dreams and ambitions are forsaken. Many parents and children never are reunited. Nightmares and emotions play like a horror creep show. But the real whore is the blood sucking monster CPS.

Our children are endangered, perhaps more than any living creature. Yet, it goes unreported in the press-stitute media. There is no financial incentive to protect the faces of tomorrow. The silent war continues under the radar.

Yes, there is a war out there on the family. To fight this, we need a global non-compliance to all bullies, regardless if they are a demeaning Biff... or the evolved monster CPS that stalks this world for its next prey. Folks need to become educated and aware, forsaking ignorance and apathy.

Somehow, we need to return to our roots... to a family whose pride and protection far surpassed any threat out there. God made us as family to be there for each other and grow. I am reminded of that old Sister Sledge song, "We Are Family". It is such a great anthem for family pride. How many songs are written today in support for the family? I can't think of one. Isn't it about time we start singing and living with pride and protecting our own from the Biffs and monsters of this world?

How will you help to grow family pride and protect our children?
