Learn to do good; Seek justice, Reprove the ruthless, , Defend the orphan, Plead for the widow. Isaiah 1:17
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and father is this: to visit the orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.-James 1:27

Do we still have Orphans?

I remember mom used to speak of the year in 1949 when she worked at the Iowa State Juvenile Home. It was an orphanage at the time. Here in Davenport, Iowa, we had the Annie Whitmeyer Home, again an orphanage. I also recall John Lennon speaking of Strawberry Fields, an orphanage not far from his boyhood home. But it seems all the orphanages have withered away long ago. Do we still have orphans?

Do We Still Have Orphans! And widows too!

It appears we have a greater orphan and widow problem than ever before in history. The orphan homes were replaced with foster homes and the business of child trafficking. It appears that, for the past 30 years, our government has invested in the business of creating orphans and broken homes. Social workers are paid a commission to manipulate and upset the life of families. Children are placed in foster homes, as money is exchanged. Others are sold for handsome profits in the sex trade. If mom and dad are not together before the CPS visits their home, they will definitely not be once the Child Protective Services has done their dirty work. Yes, they create widows and widowers too, destroying marriages and relationships.

The CPS is Orwellian and ruthless! They neither protect nor serve, but destroy the welfare of children and families.

And It's Big Business

The CPS relies on free trafficking. Open borders make it easy to transport kids for cash. Uninformed and intimidated parents also helps. An apathetic audience contributes much, as silence permits. Understand that, the baby business is big business, surpassing illegal gun and drug trade. Unlike those rackets, a child can be flipped multiple times for profit, creating the theft that keeps giving.

That may be one reason why they hated Trump and his wall. It helped to prevent illegal child trafficking.

That Must End

Children are not for sale. They are priceless and their innocence is a beautiful gift. Relationships are not there to be destroyed at will. The family is an institution blessed by our creator. Theft, lies, manipulation and intimidation have no place in this world. The governmental baby farm must end.

It is Immoral

When children are separated from mom and dad for profit, it is child theft. Not only is the child stolen, but also their dreams, innocence and happiness. In addition, it is stolen from mom, dad, grandparents, friends, pets, teachers, school groups. They all experience the loss of this person when they are taken. It is a form of a death. That child had a special place in their hearts. Theft of any child is immoral. My mama taught me not to steal, regardless of the temptation...no exceptions!

Yet, for the social worker, it can become a nasty addiction. The love of money means more than the welfare of the child.

Protecting Orphans and Widows

In the beginning of this writing, I quoted two scriptures referencing orphans and widows. Isaiah 1:17 and James 1:27. Protecting orphans and widows is doing good and what religion is all about. We are called to defend, seek justice, plead for the hurting. This is what real love is and what God wants from us. It is moral and biblical to protect families and children. In fact, the Bible speaks of this not once or twice or six times... but 24 times. So it must be very important. Below are the scripture passages referencing orphans and children.

May Be In Scriptures 24 Times

Exodus 22:22; Deuteronomy 10:18; Deuteronomy 14:29, Deuteronomy 16:11; Deuteronomy 24:17; Deuteronomy 24:19; Deuteronomy 26:12; Deuteronomy 27:19; Psalms 10:14; Psalms 94:6; Isaiah 1L17; Isaiah 1:23; Isaiah 9:17; Isaiah 10:2; Jeremiah 5:28; Jeremiah 7:6; Jeremiah 22:3; Jeremiah 49:11; Lamentations 5:3; Hosea 14:3; Zechariah 7:10; Malachi 3:5; John 14:18; James 1:27;

But It Comes From The Heart

Our children are the hope of tomorrow. Their purity and innocence is in our care. So too, is the protection of the family. When we stand for families and freedom of children, we do the right thing. We treat others fairly and karma is good and life is better. But when we are apathetic and think someone else will do it, it rarely gets done. When we see the need, it is up to us to head the call.

When We Work Together...

I know many good folks who see the need of orphans and and the widowed broken home. They have formed pro-family groups to be a voice and defend the little ones. Folks like @familyprotection, here on Hive are doing just that. These folks work together to protect the family and protect the innocent from pain and tears. A shout out to @canadian-coconut for the great work she does here to serve the hurting and helpless. I encourage you to also support @familyprotection as they help defend and protect orphans and widows everywhere.

We All Make A Difference!
