Due to fear of covid-19 spreading, On June 26, Dolly Gee, US District Judge ordered the release of migrant children in ICE Family residential Center's.
It might sound positive, but unfortunately it's not. The judge only ordered the children to be released but not the adults, the parents or other family members. It's up to the ICE to decide if the adults will be released which is unlikely.
This ruling is highly suspect as children have a much lesser chance of contracting the virus.
Overall, the data suggested that children are less likely to develop coronavirus symptoms than adults. Of all reported cases in the US, only 1.7 percent were children, even though they make up 22 percent of the population.

The big Question, where will these children end up?
If released without the parents or other adults where will these children end up?
They will be taken to “non-congregate settings” that include “suitable sponsors.” Basically this is the foster care system, which is known to be a supplying source for child sex slaves and child trafficking.
“We have a major issue here in the United States” Geoff Rogers, co-founder of the United States Institute Against Human Trafficking (USIAHT), said in an interview with Fox News. “The United States is the No. 1 consumer of sex worldwide. So, we are driving the demand as a society.”
“We’re also driving the demand with our own people, with our own kids,” Rogers said. “So there are tremendous numbers of kids, a multitude of kids that are being sold as sex slaves today in America. These are American kids, American-born, 50 percent to 60 percent of them coming out of the foster care industry.”
This assertion is confirmed by the State Department’s report, which found that children in foster care, homeless youth, undocumented immigrant children and those with substance abuse problems were especially at risk to fall into the human trafficking trap.

Children that come across the border without birth certificates and other documentation is especially vulnerable for child trafficking as was highlighted by U.S. Senator Rob Portman in 2016.
His Senate report noted several “Systemic Deficiencies” in the government’s failure to protect these vulnerable children from organized criminal trafficking:
HHS’s Process for Verifying a Category 3 Sponsor’s Identity and Relationship with a UAC Is Unreliable and Subject to Abuse.
HHS Is Unable to Safeguard Children from Sponsors Attempting to Accumulate Multiple Children.
HHS Failed to Require Background Checks on Non-Sponsor Adult Household Members or on Backup Sponsors.
HHS Policy Allowed Non-Relatives with Criminal Histories to Sponsor Children.
HHS Does Not Ensure a Sponsor Has Adequate Income to Support a UAC.
HHS Approves Placements with Sponsors Who May Not Remain in the Country. Sponsors Often Inflict Legal Harm on UACs by Not Ensuring Their Appearance At Immigration Proceedings.

UAC are defined as a child who has no lawful immigration status in the United States; has not attained 18 years of age; and, with respect to whom, there is no parent or legal guardian in the United States, or no parent or legal guardian in the United States available to provide care and physical custody.

The ICE Family residential Center's were the safest place for these migrant children. Safe with their parents and other adult family members.
These children were safe before U.S. District Judge, Dolly Gee ordered the release of these children under the cover of protecting them from Covid19.
So again in spite of President Donald Trump's executive order on 20 June 2018, to halt separations of immigrant children and parents a new onslaught was launched.
