Bean Plant Growth Time Lapse - 15 minutes in 2 seconds

in #food4 years ago

The summer bean harvest is in, and they're delicious!

But they're almost all gone. Luckily, my fall crop is coming along quickly:

I watered that little sprout after a long sunny day, and let my camera run for 15 minutes to catch the reaction.

This second crop will be yielding food through October. It was planted using seeds (beans) from the first crop:

"Heirloom gardening"

And "heirloom seeds" are just other ways to say growing plants the way Nature does it. Fertile seeds are naturally produced by healthy plants as part of their life cycle. Properly collecting and storing those seeds, then deploying them at the right time in the right place, is the role of the heirloom gardener.

It adds an additional layer of complexity and risk, but also additional rewards.

Regardless of your gardening skill level and techniques, I hope you're growing if you want to be, and I hope it has been a good season for you!

Grow in peace,

Sort:

Is there any difference between yellow wax beans and green wax beans, other than colour?

None that I'm aware of.

Then you should probably grow more hemp in that garden :P

Beans, beans!
The musical fruit.
The more you eat,
The more you toot.
The more you toot,
The better you feel,
So let's have beans,
With EVERY meal!

Hurry up! Eat your beans, and make it snappy! I DO toot with every meal hahah

That's cool to see the plant responding 👍

oh so beautiful time lapse :)

It is very pretty : )
Nice to see plants growing!
