A lot of people are not aware that they can use essential oils with the food.
There are also warnings how essential oils should never be consumed or taken internally.
I totally agree that MOST essential oils in the market right now are not safe and should never be taken internally or even applied on the skin. However, there are pure, organic and Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade essential oils out there that are extremely, insanely powerful tools for us to use as natural medicine etc.
I have been using essential oils for 5 years now and so have my whole family. We take them internally on daily basis, I cook with them, all my cleaning supplies are made of essential oils, we diffuse them and apply them on our skin and I will never stop using them because I know what a great impact they have made in my life and my family.
I only use doTERRA's essential oils, because I know that I can trust them and that they are the purest essential oils in the market and I don't just say that because I use them, but because I know by experience, how powerful they are and that they really work.
Essential oils are up to 85% more concentrated than the herb, fruit itself and that is why I love using them in my cooking. It can also save you a lot of money.
So here is a chart of how to use essential oils with your cooking. One drop of essential oil is really powerful and so when you use it in cooking, be careful that you don't use too many drops of you can have a really strong taste to it.
For example, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Clove, or oregano essential oil are pretty strong, so depending on what you are cooking I would use a toothpick to add the oil into my cooking instead of a drop of that oil.
Hope this was helpful and would love to hear from you if and how you use essential oils in your cooking.
God Bless!
