Good morning my friends, today I will represent to you one of my favourite recipes and food , easy to cook and believe you will be in love , the combination is perfect, check the following instructions

Ingredients for beef

1 kg of beef
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
1 glass of white wine
juice of 3-4 lemons
olive oil, salt, pepper
4-5 sprigs of thyme or lemon thyme

Ingredients for mashed potatoes

10 medium potatoes
olive oil
Salt Pepper

Preparation

  1. Saute the beef with the olive oil and add the grated onion. Season well. Cook until the onions are sauteed, softened and translucent. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes.

  2. Quench with the white wine and leave the pot open to evaporate the alcohol for 3 minutes.

  3. Add hot water until it evenly covers the meat, thyme and lower the heat. Let the beef simmer for about 1-1.5 hours.

  4. At the same time we make the puree. Wash the potatoes well and boil them in salted water with the skin until they soften to the center (try with a knife, after they have boiled for 20 minutes).

  5. Peel the potatoes and put them in a bowl, pour olive oil (enough) and start to melt them with a fork. Add as much olive oil as needed (do not be afraid, it needs too much) and season with salt and pepper. Keep it warm somewhere until served.

  6. After the meat is cooked (pinch it with a fork and it should be soft), add the lemon juice 5 minutes before turning off the food and let it melt.
