Good morning my friends, today I will try with you all i recipe that I never tried before and I must say in my eyes looks so delicious, let’s start

Ingredients

for light béchamel

75 gr. cow butter
40 gr. flour for all uses
850 ml fresh whole milk
salt
freshly ground pepper
freshly ground nutmeg
1 egg yolk
100 gr. Mixed Grated Cheese

Other materials

6-7 medium potatoes (depending on their size)
100 gr. Mixed Grated Cheese

Preparation

  1. Prepare the light béchamel. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

  2. Add the flour and beat with a whisk until it is "baked" and takes on color.

  3. Gradually add the fresh milk and stir constantly and vigorously so that it does not clot.

  4. After adding all the milk, add salt, freshly ground pepper and nutmeg and continue to stir until thickened.

  5. Once thickened, remove from heat and add an egg yolk, continuing to stir.

  6. Add the Mixed Grated Cheese and stir to incorporate into the mixture.

  7. In an oiled fireproof dish, spread a spoonful of the béchamel all over the bottom.

  8. Cut the potatoes into very thin slices, lightly salt them and pepper them.

  9. Place the half potatoes in the pan and cover them with half the amount of béchamel.

  10. Continue with the remaining potatoes and béchamel. Sprinkle with grated cheese.

  11. Cover the pan with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 200oC for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

  12. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes, until the potatoes are golden and the cheese is colored.

  13. Serve the potatoes ograten hot.
