It needs a lot of finesse and skill to be able to master and even accomplish the art of baking it. So many factors come into play such as the temperature of the butter and even the surroundings. The techniques of folding and checking the right temperature to bake it is crucial in baking a croissant. Having nice and airy layers lets you know that your croissant is successful. I would love to visit France someday and be able to try all their baked goods.
