Smooth Rice Porridge

I've made rice flour, grinding white rice and prepared smooth rice porridge with fruits and toasted shredded coconut.

Ingredients:

  • 500 ml of water
  • 7 tablespoons of rice flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 kiwis
  • some shredded coconut
  • a few pomegranate seeds

Preparation:

  1. Finely grind rice.

  2. Sift it through the sieve.

  3. Bring water to boil. Add salt and whisk in rice flour.
  4. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring it frequently.IMG_20211126_103410.jpg
  5. Put on a lid and leave it to sit for 10 minutes.
  6. Toast the shredded coconut on a hot pan.

  7. Serve the porridge with toasted coconut shreds, kiwi slices and pomegranate seeds. Add any kind of sweetener, if desired.
