Time to my dinner again. Today I visit the Meet Mee restaurant, this restaurant known for serving all kind of Pan mee.
Here are some of the other kind Pan Mee they sell.
I decided to order the Chili Pan Mee *Anchovies. It cost RM7.90 per bowl.
Dry chili pan mee is a popular dish in Chow Kit, Kuala Lumpur, and Klang Valley. This dry noodle is normally served with minced pork, fried onions, anchovies, and topped with a poached egg which is later to be stirred into the noodles. It is usually served with dry chili or sambal
Two common ingredients that are often found on dry chili Pan mee are mushrooms and anchovies. The exact type of each might vary, but they are generally added to the stock base. The mushrooms can be dried and are reconstituted in the broth, while the anchovies could be fried until crispy and then served on top of the soup. The anchovies also can be added to the stock for flavor and allowed to break down as it cooks.
Here is how it looks like when served.
My way of eating it is to mix up all the ingredients. If you feel you need more chili or sambal, there is this counter for you to get more.
Here is how the restaurant look like.
Here is their address if you wish to visit this restaurant.
