Freedom Tuesday #36!

I know most of you that read me regualarly know that as a collective whole those of us that work for a living create all the stuff in the stores.

We make the fruit rolls.
We make the gum drops.
We make the trucks that deliver them.
We refine the diesel, and sugar, that makes all this possible.

Now, if somebody could tell me why I would sell my labor to Tom so that Tom can sell my labor to Bob so that I can buy my labor back in Jack's store?

I mean, I get that not everybody will be involved in direct production, but where do all these middle men get a share of the work?

If I give to you my potatoes for a pair of your shoes, we both go away richer in our own minds.

If I give my potatoes to Jack in return for 'cash' and then have to use that cash to buy shoes from Bob, what exactly has been contributed to the bottom line by the middle people?

They create nothing, why do they double their money doing so?

If you have run a business, you know that if you aren't doubling what you have in what you sell, you won't be in business long.

Anymore you have to triple it, just to stay afloat.
If you want to grow prosperous quick, you got to gouge even more than that.

I say gouge because that is what you are doing to your neighbors.
You are profiting on their inability to deliver whatever goods or services you sell to them.

Why do guitar makers get soooo much to make a guitar?
Why do surgeons make soooo much money for a single hour?
Why do plumbers charge more for after hours?

These age old questions of economics can easily be answered.

We agree to all that because we don't know how to do this in a more efficient way.

What, exactly, are we doing?

Imo, we are managing a world.

We see how it has been managed up to now.
The top takes the big bites and the bottom gets bit.

The powerful are more interested in power than in providing a loving environment for all life.

Yet, the dupes continue to praise this system as better than all the other systems that are pretty equal to it.
They have to be, starving people the world over burn the gated communities.
So, those ruling over us give us just enough to keep us off the walls.

They seem to be a little behind in their payments, if we take the burning cop cars as any type of indicator.

If you are waiting for a shining knight to ride up and bestow upon us the secrets of atlantis, it might be a while.

Fortunately, we don't have to do that, we can learn from our past.

All the things we think today, are pretty much what they thought in the past.
The more 100+y/o books I read, the more I realize that it is me that is new to the struggle, and not the struggle that is new to humanity.

Folks have thought out this stuff before.
Some of them had read more books than some of us will ever see.
Others had task masters that could whip them.

As we know that what we are allowed to learn by our oppressors is less than we could learn absent their oppression, perhaps we should look to the dissenters of the past that have been allowed to persist into the now.

Often the occultic codes require the prey being informed prior to the move on their lives.
It's a chivalry thing, I guess.

Whatever the reason, the old economic masters are still available in the greatest library ever made.

If we take state oppression as a guide, then the anarchist masters should be our knights.

If the opposite of what we have isn't the answer, then I don't know what is.
I have seen nothing that violent thugs do better than peacefully cooperating adults.
It's just a fact of human nature.

'You gets your mind on yer oppressin' and youse forgets all about the other things whut need done.'

I know few, if any, of you will actually take the several day commitment to read a not easy to read text, so I will spare you that.

But, I won't let you escape without at least a mental commitment to read the table of contents of this book: The Abc's of Anarchism by Alex Berkman.

There is no need to get your PhD in anarchic studies, but maybe you should give the other side a chance at educating you, too.

If you are not happy with what is, perhaps you should look to what is denied as a possibility by it.

You gotta think for you, or be a slave of those that did your thinking for you.
It can be no other way.
