A short while ago school teachers in Japan were struck by Norwegian sex and drugs related song going viral when a lot of school kids started posting videos of themselves dancing in tune of a song to Tiktok without knowing what the lyrics were about.
The lyrics were actually about festival held in Norway just before constitution day called Russefeiring (Russ celebration) when high school students celebrate their final spring semester with various tasks.
YouTube channel of the artist was flooded with Japanese people commenting how the song has become viral and Norwegian users wondering why video sung in Norwegian suddenly attracts more foreign visitors than Norwegians.
