In their latest annual survey, Atlus asked the fans in Japan about their interest in Switch ports of their popular franchise. The survey specifically asks the fans to choose which games they would like to see on Switch.
The list includes all of these games as separate entries:
- Revelations: Persona
- Persona 2 (Innocent Sin, Eternal Punishment)
- Persona 3 (Original, FES, Portable)
- Persona 4 (Original, Golden)
- Persona 5 (Original, Royal)
- Persona Q
- Shin Megami Tensei (Nocturne, IV, Apocalypse)
- Devil Summoner (Soul Hackers, Raidou Kuzunoha)
- Etrian Odyssey series
- 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim
- Catherine: Full Body
- Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
- Dragon’s Crown Pro.
They asked survey takers to check all the games they want from the list. So you could check all the games if you want.
This is exciting news for fans of any of these games, and especially Persona series, because the main titles were PlayStation exclusives. The possibility of a Nintendo port will add a huge number of new fans.
Keep in mind, this is only a question in the survey. There's no guarantee that the company plans on creating these Switch ports. Most of these games were exclusive to their consoles so there is also a licensing part of the equation.
But if its hypothetically true, the game I'm most interested in a Switch port for, is Persona 3 FES. The possibility of playing the definitive version on the go is appealing idea.
Though I agree the port Switch will most benefit from will be Persona 5. P5 Scramble is being released on the platform, and I'm sure many people will experience this sequel without playing the original for being on a different platform.
We can't be sure that the publisher is planning on making these games available for Switch, or even similar new games. But I'm just glad they're gauging the fans interest on the matter.

Well, from a business standpoint it'll be nearly impossible to port all of these, that's why I think they asked to know which ones are the most demanded.
I agree, in the end it's all about having a healthy business and it's good that they are reaching out to the players.
