The event is also a friendly type competition between each of the playable subclasses with only one of the three getting a year long statue at the end during the closing ceremony. The event basically entails completely all types of activities with the subclass of your choice to gather medals to deposit at the Tower for a final tally. Last year, the Titan subclass won by a large margin. However, the margins remained tight this year throughout the event with Hunters being the victors.
It was not a an overwhelming exciting event for me but enough to keep me active during the launch to get the exotic weapon and its catalyst which dramatically improves its performance. Once I achieved that, I took a break for the coming launch of the new Season which seems to be exciting given the changes announced. Still a bit lonely but hoping that will change in the coming weeks!
