How is everyone doing today?
A lot going on this last few days. One of our developers is down with a bad cold (hope its not COVID) he was working on the Arena Rewards Upvote Bot. So it will be delayed a little.
We are going to shoot for for Next Monday 7/6/2020 to start payouts.
Someone in the discord asked about what this. So a quick summary:
Arena rewards will be in the Form of upvotes on the Hive Blockchain.
Our bot will take a LEADERBOARD snapshot every 12 hours and credit your account with "rshares" if you are in the TOP 500 players.
The higher ranked you are the more your reward of "rshares"
Once you have enough "rshares" to equal a vote amount. The bot will upvote you. If you have nothing to upvote it will continue to build up your upvote amount.
COMBAT
I mad some changes to the crit calculations in combat. They are live right now. Let us know how it is playing out.
After digging into the code I am holding off on the Attacker goes 1st changes until the items are released.
Without the option to buy items to counter this, it is a bit too powerful.
ITEMS
I am currently working on the item code.
EPIC items will spawned less frequently. They actually need to be EPIC when you find one. (some players already noticed)
The old drop rate was having them spawn so much players could just sit and farm them.
The new items hopefully will be out soon.
The code is adding damage_type to weapons and gives us the ability for item_skins so is taking a little longer then I had hoped.
BREAD / Premium
Bread prices will be going up soon.
Premium is getting a rework.
