Bean Plant Update!

Greetings, everyone! The beans are almost ready to harvest and you know what that means! It's almost time to plant more beans!
The first picture shows two of the pods from the cranberry bean plant. The largest is 15cm long including the little horn on the end. Something plagued this plant during one of its waterings and the leaves are starting to discolor. I think it will hold out long enough until harvest time though.
The next order of business are the small white pinto beans. They are doing well in their containers made from water bottles plus the confined space stops them from going leggy and climbing.

They are a little crowded but they don't mind. This one put out 3 pods.

This one managed to produce 4 little pods. Both, however, are outshined by the next one.

This plant produced a whopping 9 pods! I've never gotten one to produce so much in such a small container. Even though the pods only reach about 7cm, I still believe this is an important gardening feat. The next set of 3 white beans I'll be planting will definitely all come from this plant. I'm excited to do so and also to write about mutation induction.
Until next time!
