Erdogan is back again to his favorite method to save his political career in Turkey after the continuous setbacks in the economy, foreign military interventions abroad, the ideological collapse of his anti-Islamic Muslim Brotherhood doctrine across the world, and the isolation he's been in ever since his buddies Trump and Netanyahu are no longer in power.
Not only Trump is no longer in power, Biden had even vowed in his presidential election campaign to remove Erdogan democratically, he said.
The assassination attempt was allegedly by a bomb planted under a car of a policeman who was heading to near a place where Erdogan was opening new development projects in the city of Siirt in southeast Turkey. A friend of the policemen somehow saw the bomb under his friend's car, because that's what friends do usually they look beneath each other's cars on the highways, and notified the Turkish intelligence who dismantled the bomb and saved Erdogan.
Nothing makes sense in the whole story starting with the policeman who will be parking his car very far from Erdogan, to the spotting of the bomb, to being in a city which Erdogan hates its Kurdish majority people to the extent he constantly bombs them, to his insistence on continuing the ceremonies as if nothing happened, to the fact that the Turkish intelligence was called, and so on.
