These are events that movies will be made of. Steem hf23 went through, but only after Justin and Steemit replaced every witness that refused to push through with the latest HF. This went through via actual puppet accounts, but the 23 million Steem that was supposed to be taken away from the 60 plus accounts was sent eventually to bittrex. Plus a note was sent with the amount to return the stolen steem to the original holders.
