Mi primera edición-My first edition
Hace algunos meses me sentía bastante decaída y en profunda soledad, muchas interrogantes salieron al aire. ¿Que he logrado durante este último año? ¿Que haré con mi vida?
A few months ago I felt quite down and in deep solitude, many questions came up. What have I accomplished during this past year? What will I do with my life?
Entre muchas otras, siempre había querido una foto en la que pareciera que estoy debajo del agua, entonces sentí una idea que me recorrió como electricidad. Fue muy muy difícil, estaba yo sola y la cámara con un temporizador de 5 segundos.
Among many things I had always wanted a photo in which it seems that I am under water, so I felt an idea that ran through me like electricity. And I got up I undid my room, I looked for a way to lean on something to pretend it was floating. It was very very difficult, I was alone and the camera has a 5 second timer.
5 segundos para tomar esa pose, tuve que tomar alrededor de 20 fotos. Al día siguiente amanecí muy adolorida por el esfuerzo físico de repetir una y otra vez la pose además de salir corriendo antes de que acabara el tiempo.
5 seconds to take that pose, I had to take around 20 photos. The next day I woke up very sore from the physical effort of repeating the pose over and over, as well as running away before time ran out.
La foto no termino siendo lo que había planeado, no me sentía bajo el agua.
The photo did not end up being what I had planned, I did not feel underwater.
Me sentía en el espacio viendo la vida pasar, observando lo que está a lo lejos e imaginándome el silencio, la soledad y el ruido de mis pensamientos que es lo único que me acompaña y me consuela. Para mí significa un nuevo comienzo. Siento que la aurora que flota sobre mi cabeza limpia mis malos pensamientos que a veces me limitan a realizar grandes cosas.
I felt in space watching life go by, observing what is in the distance and imagining the silence, the solitude and the noise of my thoughts that is the only thing that accompanies me and consoles me. For me it means a new beginning. I feel that the dawn that floats over my head cleanses my bad thoughts that sometimes limit me to do great things.
Realicé la edición esa misma noche. La verdad nunca había hecho algo así y quería desesperadamente ese resultado. No se me ocurrió documentar el proceso, en es ese momento no conocía la existencia de esta plataforma, solo lo hice para demostrar de lo que era capaz.
I did the editing that same night. The truth had never done something like this and he desperately wanted that result. It did not occur to me to document the process, at that time I did not know about the existence of this platform, I only did it to prove what I was capable of.
Recuerda que siempre se puede volver a empezar. Y que los resultados la mayoría del tiempo no son instantáneos, se necesita dedicación, perseverancia y sobre todo...
