I'm experimenting with posting some random bits of my genealogy research here. This individual was born circa 1282 which is...a really long time ago. The key to getting this far back in your family tree is finding one or more relatives that are related to royalty, no matter how distantly. If you are of European descent this isn't as difficult as it might sound. Chances are there is royalty in your genealogy somewhere, it's just a matter of getting far enough back to link. This individual is an example of that though if they are obscure enough (which can often be the case), there won't necessarily be much info available.
Gramps calculates this person to be my 21st Great Granduncle.
