The Government gives nothing to new people. Something they didn't know, didn't know how to do before. On the contrary, to the spread of states as we know them, people coped with all the so-called state "services" perfectly. People have always provided security and defense on their own.
Medicine and education were market services and became better and cheaper with the development of the market and, in particular, insurance. Mutual aid and social programs emerged long before it became state services.
The essence of the state is to systematically rob people. There is no state without taxes. The key objective of the state is to create a regime where those who rob are removed from the law.
