Mr. Michael it's time to take your medication
Halloween is a series that has had its ups and devastating downs like Halloween Kills. Today, it's time to end the love affair with all the children's darling Michael Mayers in his latest film, Halloween Ends
I have a huge problem with this film because, on the one hand, it tried to change something, diversify a little, but stumbled on the well-known mistakes of each part, which for a fan of the brand will be an advantage, while for me, unfortunately, it's a mistake that only reinforced my belief that this film is a cobbled together Frankeinstein.
The biggest flaw of the film is
undeniably Michael Mayers, who in this part is just a background and a good old memory than a full-fledged character, unfortunately in the film the character was reduced to a minimum for the almost 2-hour screening, which already begins to raise some thoughts about the quality of the work.
Watching, I saw on the screen a character who would have liked to be a former energetic killer, but is just an old man who slowly flinches forward.
As the previous bad part made us realize Michael is the evil of the town so he feeds on their fear, and in this part, unfortunately, ro can be seen to a large extent the town revived while the cult and fear disappeared somewhere.
I missed stronger references to the previous older installments, because here the screenwriters (and there were several of them) did not know themselves what kind of film they were creating and it came out rather strangely.
First we get the main plot, which seems to have nothing to do with Michael, and yet at a full moment it interlocks, and unfortunately then another flaw of the film appears, because instead of going with the main plot the screenwriters switch to creating a cult of Michael, which spoils the whole film.
Unfortunately, the screenwriters lose their way, because while at the beginning bad people who somehow deserve to die are killed, later on they come to the conclusion that the film goes too positive and suddenly a character changes his habits completely.
Another flaw is, unfortunately, playing with convention, the screenwriters came to the conclusion that if we know a theme from a movie it would be fun to weave it into this film, and unfortunately it comes out very badly.
The finale is very correct so much so that even for a moment no one thought to surprise the viewer with something. We literally get scenes on the basis of ticking them off on a notepad.
I expected from the series finale that a certain thread would also be closed so as to finally close the story, but it could be a controversial end.
In general, the film is one big Frankeinstein combined from various organs, which as a separate film would probably be quite good, but as the end of the series about the deadly man in the mask it came out downright comical.
While not as bad as Kills, it even tops the previous film by a tad.
It's a shame because it's clear that they wanted too much, and it's well known that creating a monster doesn't work out well, and the best example would be Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, where the idea flew away completely with the finale.
As you know, this is a character that dies and is born again, so we will probably hear about a new part of the series in some time.
To sum it up, it's a very chaotic series finale and sadly disappointing by Michael's character and by the finale that was handled too mildly, too much was missing and too many things were misaligned to make it the best film.

Halloween to seria która miała swoje wzloty i druzgocące upadki jak Halloween Kills. Dziś pora zakończyć romans z kochanym przez wszystkie dzieci Michaelem Mayersem w jego ostatnim filmie czyli Halloween Ends
Mam ogromny problem z tym filmem bo z jednej strony starał się coś zmienić, troszkę urozmaicić, jednak potknął się na znane z każdej części błędy które dla fana marki będą zaleta, zaś dla mnie niestety to błąd który tylko utwierdził mnie w przekonaniu, ze ten film to posklejany Frankeinstein.
Największa wada filmu jest
niezaprzeczalnie Michael Mayers, który w tej części jest tylko tłem i dawnym dobrym wspomnieniem niż pełnoprawna postacią, niestety w filmie postać została ograniczona do minimum na prawie 2 godzinny seans co już zaczyna wzbudzać pewne przemyślenia co do jakości dzieła.
Oglądając widziałem na ekranie postać, która chciała by być dawnym energicznym morderca, a jest tylko starcem, który powoli mknie do przodu.
Jak już poprzednia zła cześć nam uświadomiła Michael jest złem miasteczka wiec żywi się ich strachem i w tej części niestety ro widać w dużej mierze miasto odżyło zaś kult oraz strach gdzieś umknął.
Brakowało mi mocniejszych nawiązań do poprzednich starszych odsłon bo tutaj scenarzyści ( a było ich kilka) sami nie wiedzieli co za film tworzą i wyszło dość dziwnie.
Pierw dostajemy główny wątek, który wydawać się mogło nie ma nic wspólnego z Michaelem, a jednak w pełnym momencie się zazębia i niestety wtedy pojawia się kolejna wada tego filmu bo zamiast iść wątkiem głównym to scenarzyści przechodzą na tworzenie kultu Michaela co psuje całość filmu.
Niestety scenarzyści gubią się bo o ile na początku giną osoby złe które w jakiś sposób zasługują na smierć tak później już dochodzą do wniosku, ze film idzie w zbyt pozytywna stronę i nagle postać zmienia całkowicie swoje nawyki.
Kolejna wada jest niestety zabawa konwencja, scenarzyści doszli do wniosku, ze jeśli znamy jakiś motyw z filmu to fajnie będzie go wpleść do tego filmu i niestety wychodzi to bardzo złe.
Finał jest bardzo poprawny tak bardzo, ze nawet na moment nie pomyślał nikt by czymś zaskoczyć widza. Dosłownie dostajemy sceny na zasadzie odhaczania ich w notatniku.
Spodziewałem się po finale serii, ze pewny wątek również zostanie domknięty tak by ostatecznie zamknąć ta historie, jednak widać mógłby to byc kontrowersyjny koniec.
Ogólnie film to jeden wielki połączony z różnych organów Frankeinstein, który jako osobny film pewnie byłby w miarę dobry, jednak jako zakończenie serii o zabójczym człowieku w masce wyszło to wręcz komicznie.
Nie jest to co prawda tak złe jak Kills, ale przebija się wręcz odrobine wyżej niż poprzedni film.
Szkoda bo widać, ze chciano zbyt dużo, a wiadomo, ze tworząc potworka nie wychodzi dobrze i najlepszym przykładem niech będzie Halloween 2 Roba Zombie, gdzie pomysł uleciał całkowicie wraz z finałem.
Jak wiadomo to postać która ginąc rodzi się na nowo wiec pewnie za jakiś czas usłyszymy o nowej części tej serii.
Reasumując to bardzo chaotyczny finał serii i niestety rozczarowujący przez postać Michaela oraz przez zbyt łagodnie potraktowany finał, zbyt dużo zabrakło i zbyt wiele rzeczy zostało złe dopasowanych by to był najlepszy film.
