This will be the last post for this vacation! We started with a ride to Portree for breakfast and went to a small café called Birch. It was a great location with tasty coffee and good food. They also had a lot of vegan options!
(Rainbow on our drive)
I enjoyed the small town Portree, and we walked around there for a little bit. Here are some impressions:
Now it was time for the part that I, personally, enjoyed least at this vacation. We went a little more up the coast and wanted to walk to The Old Man of Storr. I can accept one walk like this during such a trip, however, I do not love it. Anyhow, the views were amazing:
Afterward, it was time to start the long drive to Kinloch Rannoch, where we had our last night, before heading to the airport the next morning. We should not get there like planned because I hit a pothole, and this concluded in a flat tire. We had to wait an hour and a half for help but at least we had a nice view while waiting:
We just made it in time to eat at our hotel called Dunalastair Hotel Suites. The dinner and the rooms were great. It was the last dinner on our trip, and we enjoyed it.
(Key Lime Pie)
The next morning, we walked to the Kinloch Rannoch for a quick view of the lake.
Afterwards, we drove to the airport and flew back to Germany. Another vacation was over, and we had an amazing time in Scotland. I do not think that I will return to Scotland soon, even though I liked the country. I think one should visit it once, however, there are more destinations out there to discover.
I hope you liked reading about my holidays!
