During my daily googling I came across this project that has been around for a few years:
The white paper ( http://whitepaper.helium.com/ ) states "A Decentralized Wireless Network"
This of course sparked my interest as it's a different way to mine coins!

I am very tempted to pick up 2 and play with them.. anybody have any thoughts or dealings with Helium related tech?

I enjoy building things, and this seems like being part of building something and making a little bit of income on the side.
Proof of Coverage mining is very interesting compared to PoW, PoS.
