There was a woman who had a newborn boy. and it seemed as if she had lost her husband in a tragic accident. When she was sending a letter to a friend for help and advice, a letter which they both knew had some very private information, the empyrean orb snapped into her hand as she re-read the request for her help. They talked of their kids, of their problems. Both felt that it would alleviate their burdens if either the oatmeal or the star were in their house. Many hours later, the stranger arrived at the only home the women owned and took the child, a strange boy, from her. She never looked back.

The woman wrote many letters to her friends, mentioning her new family, asking them to look after her son; never once did she mention the stranger. Both women felt something was wrong, because their boy was the same age as the stranger's son, the two boys soon showing a close resemblance. The old woman put aside her worries and waited.

A few years later, the woman revealed to her friends that she had gotten married, and had a new son with her. She revealed to them, in a very secretive manner, their plans to set up a school to educate the child. Soon, one of them realised the strangeness of this. The girl seemed to have a close resemblance to a woman they knew, and the man seemed to be very much like a man they knew from the boy's letters. The same was seen in every aspect of the boy and his oldest brother. They knew that something was very wrong.

The woman went on to tell them all about a great man and how her husband had narrowly escaped death in an accident. They all knew he was dead. They asked her how she got married if he was dead, and she simply said he was alive.

From this day on, the affair was on everyone's lip. It was discussed at every family's dinner table around the world. It was discussed by two young women, friends, who took to discussing it in their home: the old woman's house. The mystery surrounding the woman and her husband fascinated everyone in the world. Everyone in the village wanted to know why his face was hidden from them all. Why had the woman married her dead husband? She was seen leaving her husband's grave once, the only time she had visited it. She had light red hair.

A year went by. A year for the woman, and two years for everyone else. The woman was pregnant again. She now only had one baby boy. Full of life. The baby grew up. He grew to be very clever and intelligent. He grew up in the company of his brother, and the obsession of the women around the world grew too.

I've come up with an idea for a story that I'd like to share with you all. I'd like to try something new. It's an experiment. I'm hoping for people to take a page from movies and tv shows and start writing (short) chapters that 'tell a story.'

I'm hoping to get people to post their chapters on their own blogs, but if they want they can post it as a comment to this post (below). I'll respond to all of the comments and put them in order on my blog after you respond. Eventually, I'm going to create a Tumblr page where I'll gather all of the chapters in the end.

The title of the story will be called 'The Strange Tale of a Murdered Mother,' like the story I'm writing in the chapters. I've only gotten up to chapter III, so there's really no story, only a couple of interesting characters. My only goal is to get people to write something without worrying too much about plot or character because those things are pretty easy for me to come up with at the moment. Last thing . . . I need a name for the main character.
