Hola Hivers,
Arrancamos oficialmente el mes de la arepa 😁😁😁 y en Hive no nos podíamos quedar atrás y nos sumamos a la fiesta. Aunque el día oficial es el segundo sábado del mes de septiembre, por la gran cantidad de venezolanos alrededor del mundo y de empredimientos dedicados a la arepa en VenMundo hemos decidido extender la celebración a un mes. Hoy son más de 300 ciudades que estarán realizando diferentes actividades para homenajear la reina de nuestra gastronomía.
Como ya lo hemos dicho en otras publicaciones, ya son 11 años de este proyecto que me llena de orgullo, porque ha ayudado al reencuentro de los venezolanos en el exterior y –por supuesto a recordar- nuestra cultura y costumbres. Además, este evento ha servido para que surjan nuevos emprendedores que comienzan a crear su negocio inspirados en la comida venezolana.
Este año el mensaje es #UnaArepaPorLaPaz como un llamado de conciencia que juntos podemos sentarnos como hermanos en la mesa para conversar, compartir y solucionar conflictos. Entonces, durante el mes puedes regalar sonrisas en forma de arepa con tus familiares, amigos, vecinos o con la comunidad del país que te acogió.
¿Cuáles son las actividades para este 11º edición?
Descarga gratuita del nuevo E-book Una arepa por la paz que contiene recetario, artículos sobre gastronomía venezolana y 14 arepas ilustradas sobre la cultura de los países de origen de refugiados.
La Arepa toma tu ciudad. Es un recorrido gastronómico en diferentes locales que ofrecen diversidad de arepas tradicionales o arepas fusión.
Ferias bajo el lema UNA AREPA POR LA PAZ.
Charlas, conversatorios, webinar en diferentes plataformas.
Los restaurantes, areperas, tiendas de alimentos pueden durante este mes hacer promociones, ofertas, descuentos y concursos.
Este año la artista ilustradora de la Imagen Oficial de la 11º Edición del #DiaMundialDeLaArepa es Laura Stagno.

Hello Hivers,
We officially kicked off the month of the arepa 😁😁😁😁 and at Hive we couldn't stay behind and we joined the party. Although the official day is the second Saturday of the month of September, due to the large number of Venezuelans around the world and of businesses dedicated to the arepa in VenMundo we have decided to extend the celebration to a month. Today there are more than 300 cities that will be holding different activities to honor the queen of our gastronomy.
As we have already said in other publications, it has been 11 years of this project that fills me with pride, because it has helped Venezuelans abroad to reunite and -of course- to remember our culture and customs. In addition, this event has helped new entrepreneurs to emerge and begin to create their business inspired by Venezuelan food.
This year the message is #UnaArepaPorLaPaz as a call of conscience that together we can sit as brothers at the table to talk, share and solve conflicts. So, during the month you can give smiles in the form of arepa with your family, friends, neighbors or with the community of the country that welcomed you.

Qué bueno esto!!! Me encantó la idea del arepazo mundial y por ejemplo eso de un arepazo por la paz, me parece genial!! Y sumamente original! Voy a ver si me sumo aunque sea haciendo arepas desde mi casa, en este momento en Argentina!! Éxitos con esta gran iniciativa!!
Hola @belug, sí puedes hacerlo desde casa con la familia y amigos. La idea es compartir en una mesa. También puedes visitar alguno de los locales venezolanos que ese día tendrán promociones y otras cosas. Muchas gracias por tus palabras.

Hola, ayer me acorde del día de la arepa y dije me tengo que pasear por aquí a ver que propuestas nos traes 😜 El mensaje de este año es muy emotivo, paz y solidaridad presente. Voy a ver que psot se me ocurre para participar, un abrazo.
