Surfing trough YouTube sometimes brings some great things. I was watching a video of "The Iron Maidens" guitarists at the Nam show . It was just awesome... The two girl playing like if the were maiden themselves.

Playing the Trooper :)
When I searched a bit more I learned that one of the 'girls'(Nita Strauss) is a gifted and rewarded guitarist who toured with a lot of people and joined Alice Cooper on his world tours.. She is a amazing "shredder" :).
Besides a gifted guitarist she also knows how to put on a show.

Like a lot of great musicians Nita got her own signature model guitar at Ibanez the "Jiva10" , I can't judge it's playabilty but it does look amazing... I love the colortone of the body..

She has been part of the Iron Maidens, a Iron Maiden tribute band totally existing of female musicians. And I must confess, they sound just like Maiden but do look a bit better ;) Ans she has done a lot of side projects with mainley female musicians.. And point made... there is no difference between male or female in music, regardless the music.. Sad detail, the vocalist in the clip below (Jill Janus0 committed suicide.... It's sad that pressure and dealing with mental health issues can drive somebody to such a definitive ending....it's sad.. Great loss for music.

I've been following her in FB for two years now. I discovered her in YT too. And if her surname, Strauss, rings a classical music bell to you, well, she claims to be a descendant of Austrian composer, Johann Strauss.
It's far from classical how she shreds, but it is musical and talented :)
I've been following Nita's work for some time now and she is truely amazing! She is a fantastic guitar player and seems to have a great personality too.
I think she plays a major role in giving more visibility to all the great female musicians out there. I hope she continues to rise higher and higher!
She is indeed amazing.. She does some kind of sports challenge online too, but the way she's playing....just stunning....
She's great. It's hard for female players to get accepted in the rock world, but she has shown she can play as well as the guys. I know Alice Cooper has had Orianthi play with him too.
Have you heard the No Guitar Is Safe podcast? I am sure Nita has been on that.

Yes, I saw a interview the other day where she stated that she had to prove herself every single time for a long time.. Strang isn't it, it should be about the music and not if you are male or female. I swa a clip of Orianthi together with Ritchie Samborra , awesome.. She is absolutely great too..
