You create "waypoints" by uploading pictures and specifying the location.
All these waypoints are shown on your profile map.
You can use these waypoints to make a bunch of other awesome content like an overview of your trip or posts to share with your following!
To top it all off, if you have an account on the Hive blockchain, you can share your posts there and earn some crypto-currency.

I was struggling with the new 'steemitworldmap', but then realized Brave blocks some features. All good now and thanks for the incentive!
Oh, what features were blocked by Brave? I probably should look into that! š
I was trying to add the location of the town into the location and getting no response. (see below).
A list should appear, but nothing happens.
Oh, that's odd, didn't change the function behind that I think! This didn't happen on Brave before? And are you now using a different browser, or still using Brave?
I had to switch to Chrome to get it to populate with the locations. When it was steemitworldmap, it worked with Brave.
Very odd, I will look into it some!
