If you're a native in a European country ask your government why it supported 'democracy' US-Export style in other countries when they lack it at home? Democracy isn't a vote you cast every several years, it's the ability to hold the criminal accountable and punish them when found guilty. Libya, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and many others never asked for the western democracy as they were living peacefully and happy until you showed up.
You think your democracy and banking system is better than what they have and export your way of life to them and expect them to be thankful, how about they think Islam is a better way for life, which in its teaching it is, and they export it to you similar to how you did to them?
